I commissioned Mark Adams to do a portrait drawing of my late Grandfather, John Pribich, for my Dad for a very special gift. Mark blew me away with his attention to detail, and interest in connecting to the experience of creating this heirloom piece for my family. The extra attention spent on detail brought this drawing to a life-like form. This is what really stands out to me in Mark's artistry. Mark proposed a sliding barn door that doubled access width. The result is a showpiece at Water Street Studios. He made the door an impactful work of art that functions beautifully as a gateway to my studio. In addition, he has fashioned a variety of compelling additional functional and decorative art for the door and studio including the padlock securing my studio.
